Top 3 Shocking Moments
#1 Olivier Giroud’s scorpion goal
It is always great to score the first goal of the match but Olivier Giroud did it in style with his scorpion goal in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. It comes nearly a week after Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a similar goal and debate is now raging over whose was better. While Giroud stated it was luck and he was inspired by Mkhitaryan’s strike, there was a lot of skill involved in the stunning goal.

#2 Chris Lynn's monster six
It is hard enough to hit a Shaun Tait delivery at the best of times but Chris Lynn destroyed a 148km/h Tait delivery on Friday night during his 84 runs from 50 deliveries knock in the Heat’s win over the Hurricanes. Lynn’s six went out of the ground, the ball hitting the top of the Gabba roof and it was later found in the practice nets behind the grandstand. The six travelled a huge 121 metres which is now the longest hit in Big Bash history, beating Dan Christian’s previous mark of 117 metres which was also hit onto the roof at the Gabba.
